We started this restaurant from the wish that “We want people to know everyday cooking of Morocco.” In Morocco, home cooked meals taste much better than food served at restaurants. Why is this? It is because “love and labor” is put into these dishes. All Moroccan people say, “Beautiful dish is at home.” Dishes made by Moroccan women from traditions passed on by their mothers and their taste and experience are simple but very hearty. If I, whom is not a Moroccan, was able to make such meals, I would have to make each dish with care with my feelings of gratitude towards them, I cook based on the taste of home-cooked dishes and philosophy of cooking that these women taught me. We serve foods using halal meat. Please make a reservation in advance if you wish to be served vegetarian food.
